The advanced shortlist
- Codes are the cheapest Plumes in the game — 2,500 free from the three active codes.
- Hunt near your nest; long food routes are the biggest hidden time cost.
- Feed chicks in shifts with family members — solo parenting caps your brood.
- Watch the [bracket] in the game title — it names the newest bird and signals fresh content.
The Systems at a Glance
Broodwing looks simple from the outside, but six systems interlock. Each has its own deep-dive page:

Mastering the Plumes Economy
Plumes are the currency that converts time into progress, with three confirmed sinks: growth acceleration, nest building, and feeding chicks. Two rules follow from that:
- Never sit on codes. The active list (verified October 31, 2026) pays 2,500 Plumes — 10kmembers for 1,000, duck for 500, barnowl for 1,000. Redeem, then plan spending. Codes can expire silently when updates land, so treat them as perishable.
- Spend where the loop is slowest for you. Early game that is usually growth; family stage, it is feeding. There is no confirmed benefit to hoarding.
Exact Plumes prices for nest tiers or growth stages are not published — verify in-game before committing to a big purchase.
Hunting Efficiency
Fish and rabbits are the two confirmed prey types, and both live in the valley. The efficiency levers:
- Geography beats skill. A nest near water and grassland shortens every feeding run — see Best Nest Locations for the scouting method.
- Fish for volume, bunnies for variety. Water edges concentrate fish; rabbits roam open ground and need a real approach — the How to Hunt Bunnies breaks it down.
- Hunt on the way home. End every flight past a hunting ground so food and travel share one trip.
Nest Strategy
A nest is not just a building — it sets your commute for the entire chick stage. The checklist the top players converge on: food nearby, water reachable, some cover, and room for the family to land. The full reasoning lives in Best Nest Locations; the build flow in How to Build a Nest. Plumes can accelerate building — worth it if you found a spot you do not want to lose.
Raising Chicks Without the Grind
Chicks turn hunting into a schedule. The tactics that hold up:
- Split shifts. Co-parents hunting in turns keep the brood fed without burning out one player — the coordination patterns are in Family Roleplay.
- Plumes fill the gaps. Feeding chicks is a confirmed Plumes use; spend when a real-life interruption would otherwise leave the brood hungry.
- Expect the unknown. Exact hatch timers, growth speeds and hunger rules are unverified — do not build plans around numbers a guide invented.

Broodwing Ultimate Guide — FAQ
What is the best use of Plumes?
Plumes confirmed uses are growth acceleration, nest building and feeding chicks. Spend on whichever stage is currently your bottleneck rather than hoarding.
Is there a best bird in Broodwing?
No stat differences are published. The Duck and Barn Owl differ in looks; choose by preference until the developers publish stats.
How do I know when new content lands?
Watch the game title prefix, the official Roblox page and the Realistics Studios Discord — more birds are officially coming soon.
Do codes expire?
They can. None are tracked as expired yet, but Roblox codes routinely die with updates — re-verify after each patch.
